The imagination of the hearts of men
through films and wars show it all.
Through ways to oppress, others to stress,
the imagination of men do appall.
God saw this, it repented the Lord
and it grieved him at his heart.
So God decided to end it all
give humanity a shiny new start.
But the imagination of the thoughts of men
that from his heart arise,
Have once again appalled our Lord so much that his heart cries.
The fear of man, is greater than,
The love God showed for us.
The fear of man creates a death
That takes us back to dust.
That love for flesh that corrupts the heart,
that creates imaginations impure,
Can be conquered when we pray
Trust in God, persever, and endure.
